Founded in 2018 by NASCAR Driver Ryan Blaney and his family, the Ryan Blaney Family Foundationis a registered 501(c)3 based in North Carolina. We are dedicated to raising brain health awareness and resources to support people, families, and caregivers facing an Alzheimer’s disease or concussion diagnosis.
It’s been a great year for the Foundation and we’ve been able to help caregivers, provide families resources that they need, and bring more awareness to the challenges of Alzheimer’s and the impact of concussions.

The Ryan Blaney Family Foundation (RBFF) is proud to once again be a part of the Lou Blaney Memorial, offering fans multiple opportunities to support the Foundation’s mission while honoring the legacy of Lou and Kate Blaney. The 18th annual event will be held on Saturday, August 1 at Sharon Speedway and will feature the “410” Sprints for $12,000 to-win/$1,200 to-start along with the BRP Modified Tour. The Blaney family knows the impact of brain health challenges firsthand. Alzheimer’s disease left a lasting mark when they lost their patriarch, Lou Blaney—a legendary racecar driver and, above all, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Deeply loved and respected, Lou’s memory fuels the family’s mission. Since his passing, the Blaneys have become passionate advocates in the fight against this devastating disease, which affects more than 7 million people in the United States and over 55 million people worldwide.
