April – Growing a Dementia Garden
April showers brought new life to a special project in Salisbury, NC. We partnered with Trinity Living Center, an adult day center, to revamp their outdoor space into a dementia garden. With a little power washing, landscaping, and new furniture, the area has been transformed into a peaceful haven where attendees can relax, garden, and connect with nature. Research shows that dementia gardens reduce stress and agitation, while also stimulating the brain and fostering a sense of independence. We’re thrilled about this partnership and can’t wait to see the garden continue to grow!
