RBFF 2nd Annual Driving “Fore” Good Event Makes Big Impact on Brain Health Organizations
Salisbury, North Carolina – The Ryan Blaney Family Foundation hosted their second annual “Driving Fore Good” on Thursday, May 25, at Topgolf Charlotte-University. Over $130,000 was successfully raised for the RBFF thanks to sponsors, silent auctions purchases, and donations by both attendees and those at home!
With the money raised from the event, the RBFF pledged to match up to $50,000 in donations to the Alzheimer’s Association with the Race to #ENDALZ Match Challenge during the month of June, which is Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month. Money donated to the Alzheimer’s Association and matched by the RBFF will go towards advancing research and providing essential care and support resources.
The RBFF will also continue to support the UPMC Sports Medicine Concussion Program through the money raised from “Driving Fore Good”. Multiple family members have visited Dr. Collins at UPMC for treatment of concussions, and the RBFF funded the education of two Concussion Program Fellows. The RBFF will work to support, educate, and raise awareness for concussions.
“Driving Fore Good” featured tournament play, which was won by the Kevin Harvick Foundation, and Most Enthusiastic Team Award went to Northlake House.
