September Newsletter
September brings local Walk to End Alzheimer’s events and National Concussion Awareness Day.
Walk to End Alzheimer’s
This year, we’re the proud sponsor of the Start/Finish Line at the Rowan-Cabarrus Walk to End Alzheimer’s! To join or donate to our team, visit act.alz.org and search Team Ryan Blaney Family Foundation. You can visit the same site to find a Walk local to you!
Concussion Awareness Day
Friday, September 20 is National Concussion Awareness Day. Help us raise awareness by sharing your story if you have one. It helps other concussion patients feel like they’re not alone in their struggles and recovery! Please know that all concussions are serious, and you should see a doctor if you know or think you’ve experienced one.
Lou Blaney Memorial
The 16th Annual Lou Blaney Memorial was hosted at Sharon Speedway on Saturday, August 17th. Due to rain, the race portion of the night was postponed, but that didn’t stop the fundraising! This year, over $14,000 was raised toward the fight against Alzheimer’s. Thank you to all those who donated or showed support!
Things We’re Loving:
